27 juli Weigh in today, 45 lbs lostWeigh in today!
210 lbs, finally. Total lost so far, 45 lbs.
These last couple months have been difficult. After I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, and feeling such overwhelming emotions, and grief, and a touch of depression, I got a little careless about the way I was eating. I found my self turning to ice cream for comfort, etc. I didn't gain any weight, but I wasn't losing either.
But now, I am back on track, and going down once again.
Next goal: 205 lbs. to make my total loss 50 lbs. 20 juli Mercury Fillings are outWe just got back from Mexico, where I had all my mercury fillings removed. Everything went smoothly. We had no problems while we were in Mexico, enjoyed a wonderful day at the beach, and had no problems getting back into the USA.
The dental visit went well. I opted for conscious sedations, so I don't remember much. I needed a little more work done than just removing the fillings. Dr. Javier Morales is a very good dentist. He was very respectful of what I wanted to get done, and how I wanted to fix some of the other problems in my mouth, cost versus comfort.
Now I will start chelating. I took activated charcoal right before the mercury was removed, and a few hours after it was done. I was given IV Vitamin C during the entire procedure. I have started taking a whole food vitamin C supplement tablet.
Today as soon as my herbal chelation formula arrives, I will start oral chelation, gradually upping the dose if tolerated well. I think I should tolerate it well, my liver is pretty healthy, and I don't drink alcohol, and I have been trying to avoid other toxins, so hopefully my liver wil be able to tolerate the toxic load from chelation.

I am going to see Dr. Javier Morales, a biological dentist that is an expert at removing the mercury dental fillings. I am not really looking forward to the dental work (or the bill) but I am looking forward to getting these poisonous fillings out of my mouth. Because he is a biological dentist, he is going to fix everything I need for optimal oral health.
And the nice thing about it is that he charges way less than the same type of dentist here in the US. He charges $95 a filling to remove mercury, and replace it with safe white fillings. An American dentist quoted me $300-$1000 a tooth, depending on the size. We will spend money on gas, food, and hotel, and all the dental work, and we will still have saved a lot of money than if we would have had the local dentist do the work.
After I get all the amalgam fillings removed, I will start a chelation program. It won't do you any good to get the fillings removed, and not chelate afterwards.
I have heard nothing but good things about this dentist, so I will let you know how it goes. Check back for more updates. 10 juli Foot numbness GONERecently, I have been taking supplements that help remove mercury from the body. I have been taking Ziwi, which has several benefits, among them is helping the body get rid of heavy metals. I have also been taking a supplement that has garlic; garlic is known to mobilize mercury so other things can grab the mercury and remove it from the body. I have also been taking Vitamin C, which binds to the mercury and takes it out of the body.
I have also been taking supplements that have anti-inflammatory effect. I have been taking Pure Relief, which has fucoidan, the same main ingredient that Ziwi has. And I have been taking VivaTRU Noni capsules, which is also known for it's anti-inflammatory benefits.
I have been taking these for a couple of weeks. I have noticed that the numbness in my hands has seemed to be getting less. Today, I noticed that the numbness that was on the bottom of my feet is GONE. I have NORMAL feeling on the bottom of my feet once again.
I have been told not to chelate the mercury out until I get the mercury fillings out, since it could pull out more mercury from my fillings. So I am backing off on the supplements that remove mercury, and I will hit it heavy after I get the fillings removed.
09 juli Just Diagnosed with MSI recently started having numbness in my hands and feet and sides, and intense itching in my armpit. After few MRI's, some blood tests, and a lumbar puncture to test my cerebral spinal fluid, my doctor confirmed what he had suspected after my first MRI, I have MS.
I have also had some forgetfulness which is very convenient to blame on MS.
WOW, what devastating news.
I had finally found a natural "CURE" for, and conquered my PCOS, and then I finally was starting to conquer my obesity, and now I am presented with yet another disease to overcome.
MS is a chronic disease with no cure. The brain is attacked by the white blood cells of my own immune system. The only treatments available suppress the immune system, and only promise to delay the progress of the disease, there is no cure. I had a friend who was not much older than me who struggled with MS for many years before she passed away a few years ago.
My doctor gave me an information kit about the drug he thinks is the best. It cites studies done that show that the drug slows the progress of the disease, and shows pictures of people doing regular things, like hiking in a mountain. These people are shown smiling, with a great quality of life, with the assumption that the drug has given them quality of life despite their debilitating disease.
Then I started reading some of the posts on a peer-to-peer MS message board. These are real people with MS sharing their real problems and concerns about MS. I have seen a different side of MS, than the drug company tries to portray. Many of these people have been taking this same med, or similar meds, but their disease still progress, they still have problems walking, or doing normal activities of daily living. Many can't work any more, many have a lot of pain. Many have to take several meds just to treat the side effects of the MS drugs.
I have heard that MS is caused by mercury poisoning. And the major source of mercury poisoning is silver dental fillings. They are 50% mercury, and the mercury leaches into the body with every breath, every time we chew, every time we drink hot liquids, every time we brush our teeth.
So at first, I thought, no problem, I just need to get all the mercury filling out of my teeth. I have been wanting to get out the mercury every since I found out it was in my fillings. When I became a VivaTRU independent affiliate, I had learned about all the toxins in our lives, including the mercury in our dental fillings. That is when I started the process of making my home a toxin free home. Removing the mercury dental fillings was on my list, but when I had saved up enough money. Now that I have been diagnosed with MS, it makes it a priority now.
Then my doctor tells me that I must start on the MS treatment drugs as soon as possible so the disease progress will be slowed down, and I will be able to enjoy a good quality of life as long as possible. The sooner the drugs are started, the better the prognoses. And I read posts from all these people who maybe didn't start these medications right away, or maybe their MS started before some of these treatments were available. WOW, do I really want to take a chance, and delay starting treatment medication? I started thinking that maybe the mercury-MS connection might not really be there. I asked about mercury in a post on the MS forum. One of them never had mercury fillings before her MS was diagnosed. Others said that they know people who removed all their fillings, and it didn't help, and they wasted a lot of money. Some said that the stories about Mercury causing MS was just an urban legend.
So I do more research on the internet, and find a few people with MS whose symptoms almost all went away after mercury removal and chelation. One said that her MS didn't improve, but just got worse, after mercury removal, but her regular dentist removed the mercury, with no special precautions, and she didn't chelate afterwards.
I thought maybe I should start the drugs, and get my fillings out, that would give ME the best prognosis...or would it? If I did that, and I became relieved of the symptoms then the medical community would claim that it was the drugs that made the difference. I would not be able to prove that it was the mercury that caused my MS, and therefore removing it was the "cure". I thought, "Who cares about proving anything about mercury, I just want a hope at a normal life!"
It is kind of scary to make a decision that will have such an impact on the rest of my life. What if removing the mercury doesn't work? What if delaying treatment with drugs will allow the disease to progress faster, and put me in a wheel chair sooner? So many what if's. Fear, doubt, depression.
I decided to pray and fast. I really need inspiration from the Lord.
Well, after fasting and much prayer, I feel that I need to get out these mercury fillings first, before I start any MS treatment drugs. I am the perfect test case. Just diagnosed, with text book MRI, LP, and lab results. My LP results showed that I have all three main markers for determining diagnoses for MS, plus 2 minor markers. My MRI found at least 4 lesions that point to MS, and my symptoms match up with the symptoms that are common with MS. If my MS is CURED after I have all my Mercury fillings out, by a dentist who is an expert at removing mercury, and after chelation therapy, then NO ONE can deny that mercury was the cause of my MS.
And if removing the mercury doesn't do anything for my MS, then I will be living proof of that too, and I think I will still have time to start the MS drugs if I need to, and still slow the progress of the disease as much as can be expected.
But either way, if removing the Mercury helps my MS, or not, it still won't be a waste of money, or time. Mercury is still a very dangerous neurotoxin. And if I am to optimize my health, and optimize my life, I need to rid my body of all toxic substances.
I will put updates on this blog so you can follow my journey, and discover with me whether or not removing mercury fillings helps with my MS.
